All important human relationships in life take work and intentionality. Love does not grow by accident, it takes commitment. This is just as true for a church family as it is for our families at home. In a growing metropolitan community, such as our's, we want to be quite deliberate about developing a caring church. This is why we organize ourselves to give care to one another.

Cluster Groups -- All people in the church are automatically assigned to a geographic cluster group. The Cluster Groups provide meals and other support at special times, such as when there is a death or someone comes home from the hospital. In this way everybody at St. Stephen's shares in the ministry of Caring.

Telephone Prayer Chains -- We pray for many prayer requests each month. There are Day, Evening and Night Prayer Chains.

Hospital Visitation Team -- A team of persons committed to caring for persons from St. Stephen's who are hospitalized.

Long Term Care -- This team provides ongoing care for members who have continuing care needs, such as driving people for daily cancer treatments, etc.

Affirmation Team -- Sends sunny cards of appreciation and congratulations on behalf of the church.

Covenant Care Callers -- These are people who like to call on folks. They visit and take communion to home-bound persons and other special persons.
